Location Of Nav Lights

Hey guys....I am in the process of installing a windlass so I had to remove the original split Nav light from the bow of the boat. I see a lot of pictures of guys going with the split bow nav lights. I feel that in most cases that the flukes of the anchor will block the view of the lights from head on. Has anyone mounted the lights on the pilothouse? There isnt much room under the overhead of the pilothouse and where the side windows begin. Any pictures or ideas of what some of you guys have done would be great thanks -Joe

Mine came from the factory with the split nav lights. never an issue with them being seen.

Yeah, if needed, just go further back along the rail, you'll be fine. Oh, go with LEDs ! Search on Megabyte's post, he used the same LEDs I did and put up a great "how to" about it.
