Sent a buddy to the store while working on my boat to get lower unit oil...Not until i put the first got one quart in did I realize it was Yamalube HD going into my yamaha f150.....Question is is there a big difference between this oil recommended for the V8 and the regular yamalube....Should I drain it and start again?

With the HD it's probably just a better oil, but a quick call to Yam, your dealer, or Andy @ SIM would tell you ... says it is "Fortified with technologically-advanced extreme pressure additives to withstand the extreme gear contact pressures produced by the most powerful outboard motors."

Most OEMs market their LU oils like, example Bombardier/OMC had a std LU oil, then a PF and then a UPF for 'Ultra Performance'. Where my LUs were used on a big heavy boat in offshore use, I always used the UPF. It's only like a buck or two more per quart ...
