Havent posted in a while(used to be under MikeD), hope all is well. I have a few questions and hope someone could help. Long story short, I lost my job in Nov 09 and didnt start work again until Sept of 2010. Thankful to have a job now, but still feelin it! Anyway, the boat(06 21ft sport cabin 150hp yam-~200hrs) hasnt been used sinceNov 09, and he motor was winterized by my marina then.
I dont have the $$ to slip, and wont have much time to use it this season anyway. But I would like to get a few trailer trips in. The motor was always serviced/maintained by my marina. Since I would like to start doing this myself, and cant see payin for it given my limited use this season, I want to start doin it myself now.
That being said, i remember seein a chacklist/guide on here years ago regarding recommissioning a motor. I tried looking for it, but couldnt find it. Anyone know?
Also, any tips/additional steps given the amount of time the boad has been idle?
Any info greatly appreciated!!
