Just got the call that "Cat's Cradle" is ready for pick up from the shop ahead of schedule. Looking forward for my first splash of the season next week. Have a planned fishing trip next weekend (Wed to Sun) and hopefully I can get out to the stream again and finally catch some Mahi. Wanted everything as good as it could be mechanically so this season I can hopefully achieve this bucket list item.
Noticed my motor was struggling to achieve even 5,800 WOT at the end of last season. My tech did mention number 1 plug was fouled so it was time for service.
Lots of normal stuff but added a few items that I just wanted to clear my mind on. They were the VST and filter and the injectors.

Lower unit oil
Water pump - (I do this every other season)
Spark plugs
Main fuel filter
Zinks
I had the thermostats changed last spring.
My Tech said that he dated the filter and also noted the VST and injector cleaning date on the flywheel cover for me. Got to love a good Tech. When you find them you stay with them. Anybody else in the Beaufort area need a good guy, I highly recommend Clay!
