I've posted a few times about my old 2 stroke yamaha running poorly. After trying new filters, new plugs, new fuel lines, dunks sea foam treatment and running on a aux 6 gal tank all with no luck, I tried some marvel yesterday. She ran the best she has all summer. I guess it confirms my engine needs carb work. Any harm running marvel in it long term

I don't think so...... I looked at MSDS and it contains mineral spirits, other petrochemicals, red dye and wintergreen fragrance. .... I use ring free per Yamaha and many fuel additives contain naphtha and can't find a fact on any of them but lots of endless testimonials.....I expect these end with their outboard honks out and the blame shifts to bad gas...everything the fuel additives were reported to prevent.... too bad we can't read a third party testing lab using standardized methods if these work at all or just snake oil
