I have a 1991 25dv with a tower notched transom with a 1998 merc 250 efi purchased new 4 blade stainless from prop gods seems to be good as far as rpm but cavitates on turns and trolling sometimes in rough water does anybody have similar boat and what height do you suggest on mounting

For best all-around performance using a perfectly tuned prop, I have found that one will ALWAYS need to trim the OB in high speed turns ...

This post here shows you how to tell you're at the right height for that specific prop as changing the prop can change the results: viewtopic.php?f=19&t=11163

Would prop gods be able to tell me if the motor is mounted at the right height or should I call tech line at parker thank you for your help

Read through that post and look at the pictures of where YOUR vent plate on the OB should be ... only you or someone else on your boat - when running on plane - can tell you ...

I will gladly accept a small amount of cavitation
for improved performance of raised motor
and Rev 4 (is this what you have?).

Not since my water skiing youth have I found the need to make sharp high speed turns.
