New 2820 on the way

Hello I am currently waiting on the delivery of a new 2820 sc Has anybody had luck with a ray marine ev 400 autopilot unit with a type II pump.
Mostly I will use to fish the Great Lakes Erie and Ontario

YAHOO! nicely done, sir: a really classy boat. No experience with the raymarine Autopilot. I just bought a new to me 2830 (extended cabin version of the boat you just ordered)... I went with Garmin Autopilot GHC10. They are tested tried and true: never a failure in any of the units my friends run. My fishing mentor loves and swears by his Raymarine a27/28 MFD: now that is a sweet unit..but their autopilot, I don't know anyone who runs that system.
I just wanted to say congrats on your new boat coming. Post pics when you get her home and splashed!
