Bought 2- 8' track, and 1-4' track

Tried to use rubber guides........lets see if the make the bend.....

1/2" from top lip is a thick part of glass....

Counter sunk and installed 6" on center and 1" from each edge....
you will need 40 ,3/4" stainless steel screws

Tried the 1.25" vinyl bead ........stainless staples thru the 1/4" starboard backer board of cushions........

NO GOOD the Ruffians fishing loved the cushions but knocked the staples lose....

I ordered 1" Keder.. 21 feet for $25.50 , it has an insert . Going to sew them to a 2" strip of vinyl and then sew it to top of cushion.... will take pics n post later this week

$160 to disassemble, un staple top of cushions, cut 2 1/2" strips of marine vinyl, fold over, double stitched and sewn to back of pads ....

New total...lol

My old boat had the snaps and they suck. They get corroded and very difficult to pull apart and half the time end up pulling out of the vinyl before unsnapping. You shouldnt really need to do anything to hold them down thats what gravity is for. I stopped snapping mine after dealing with them and never had a problem. But velcro sounds like a good option.
