I bought my first boat, a used Parker 1801, and the GPS is 10 years old. Its on the top of the console and I want to replace it. The problem is the mounting is different, so when I remove it, there will be holes where the old GPS and a GPS antena used to be. How do you fill those holes so it
doesn't look bad?

If you don't want to get into fiberglass/gelcoat repair, you could just cover area with a routed piece of 1/2" Starboard. That's what I did on my old 21se to cover a bunch of cutouts/holes from previous owners.

Scroll down a bit in my for sale ad and you can see some pictures.....

I would get a piece of 1/8" or 1/4" teak plywood and cover entire top. Then mount new stuff on top. That is what I did on my old Mako.
