Hello everyone, I purchased a 2520XLD a few months ago but won't be picking her up until the end of the month at some point. Had the dealer install the Optimus 360 and its been a little wait for all the parts to show up Glad to have found this forum, figure it will help with learning the ins and outs of the new boat,

Hello and welcome. Enjoy the forums. Do you have other boat(s) as well?

Hey Wyld3man, Welcome to CP.... The 2520's a great boat!

It's a floor pacer to wait for your boat! I'm there! Wanted a 2520, which is a bit too much to trailer so dropped to a 2320 SC SL instead. This is a GREAT forum!!!

Finally got home and picked up the boat. I had it wrapped and am doing a few things to her before I get out on the water. Here are some pics.

It's great to see pics of your beautiful boat. Keep us posted when you get out on the water?

Spent a few hours on her the last couple days. Was planning on going out for longer but the Gulf of Mexico was a little too torn up for the family. Boat handled it perfectly but the family did not approve so we went back into the bay and found a sand bar.
Getting use to the electronics and the way she rides will take a few times out but overall I am very pleased.
The Optimus 360 works very good, tested out position hold in windy and torn up conditions, she held within 10ft of the spot.

That's fantastic, hope you'll have a longer trip next time. Thanks for sharing those nice pics. How was your ride different from your previous boats?

Definitely much dryer on the Parker. I would have been soaked on my last boat getting out of the pass in the conditions the other day. The windshield wipers came in handy, glad I found an excuse to use them.

I just have to get use to the field of view and sitting up front as opposed to a center console.

That's great, you clearly had a nice time out there. Have you tried its Twin 200s at full power yet? Thanks for the reply.
