Just wanted to share this quick and effective project. I could barely see the info on the gauges (2000 21SE) because of all the crazing and it's been driving me nuts for awhile. Bought this boat 3 yrs. ago from a guy in Forida where the gauges got baked in the hot sun. Was very reluctant to buy new/used ones ($$) because I may re-power one of these days and will have to replace them all together. Decided to sand them down and pray for the best. Started w/100 grit and progressly moved up to 600. Then polished with 30 micron progressively moving up to 1. An acrylic polish completes the job. I'm very happy with the results. Cost less than $15 and an hour of sweat equity.

That came out pretty good! I wonder if the new "miracle" headlight lens restorer wipes would work for this?
