Good morning all,

I just purchased a 2012 Parker 23SE. I'm very happy with the boat having only had it for less than a month, but I'm sure I will entertain you all with the dumbest Parker Boat owner questions...

Glad to have found you all.

Mostly fish. My kids are getting older so now I have more time to fish. If the wife and friends come alone then we might just putter around.

Welcome to the forum and congratulations on the new boat!

Welcome. I've seen Casco from the road and it looks tough to navigate. Besides stripers, what can be caught in those waters?

Welcome PD! I am just a bit up the coast from you in Boothbay Harbor - We also have a 23SE, ours is a 2001. This is a good forum to ask those questions and get some answers

Thanks you.

So here is a question. I have a fabric t-top. I want to mount a "foldable" VHF antenna mount. The tubes appear to be around 2". Most of the VHF mounts are only 1"....

How have you all attached a VHF antenna to your T-Top?

I used to live in Maine, now I'm in Florida. Miss fishing for strippers in the Kennebec. Most t-tops have mounting plates/tabs. You just bolt through fabric. If not, there are rail mounts.

Thanks Mike, I left Maine in the 1980s and am finally back and very happy about it.

I looked for a mounting plate and maybe i missed it. The only thing I could see was the plate the held the anchor light.

I am looking for a rail mount, but can not find a 2" mount that folds.

PD, this may work for you but please read the description thoroughly. It should mount to your T-Top and then you can mount a fold-able antennae bracket to it. Watch the 30sec video and you'll see what I am talking about. It say's 1.9" diameter.

I that one doesn't work I know this one will fit 2" diameter but you may have to pre-drill mounting holes for antennae.

Good luck

Thanks MadGar,

I was wondering if that was the solution. Thank you for the direct links, very helpful.
