Hey All,

Just bought a 2019 Sport Cabin 2120. Coming out of a Boston Whaler 17' center console. I'd love to hear the good, bad and ugly of the 2120, or just any good info a new owner should know. One first question I have, did I make the right choice ordering a roller trailer? Are bunks a better option for this boat? Thanks!

Congrats on your new 2120 and welcome to CP. I would not purchase a roller trailer unless you have to have one due to launch and recovery requirements at shallow ramp. All the rollers require more Maintance.

Roller trailers can put pressure points on the hull as well if stored on trailer for an extended period of time. Bunks support a hull much better.

Thanks for the replies. I called the dealer and switched the order to a bunk trailer. It appears it will be perhaps less stressful on the hull and lower maintenance. My previous Boston Whaler all be it smaller, never gave me any issues launching on bunks so I think the ramps here in Maine are deep/steep enough. Anyone, tow regularly? I will be towing with my Tundra 1/2 ton pick up, hope it's not too tough to haul around to the local ramps.

I tow exclusively (2320) and use a f150. I average about 1000/year towing
