Hello all, I have been lurking for a few weeks now and there seems to be alot of useful information on here so I thought I would introduce myself. My name is Larry and I am stationed in Washington state, Fort Lewis to be exact, I have been here on and off since 2008 and although I hate the weather being a Texas boy, I love the fishing. Anyway, I just recently purchased a Parker 2320 and need to outfit it with radar, It has the raymarine c70 on it and I was looking at an open array that I found for 1,000 bucks. It states its a 48 " Antenna model #M92654-S with Pedestal, will this even fit on the hardtop? I am thinking its a little too long but thought I would ask the experts. Thanks, Larry

Welcome aboard!

$1000 for an open array unit with a strut is a bargain price, so long as it works and everything is there.
So far as the size... Take a measuring tape (or a 48" piece of 1x2) and go up on the top where you would have the unit mounted.
Makes for a good 'visual', and is a good way to check for clearances.

Good luck!

Thanks for the info, I guess I failed to mention that I don't have the boat in my possession yet, it is being transported from alabama. Guess I may just have to wait until it gets here but I thought that was a smokin deal on the array myself and the seller actually stated is has only been used like 20 hours or so. Maybe it will still be available in a week or two.

I also live in the the Tacoma area.
While there arnt alot of the Parkers out here you run into one now and again.
That 2320 is a great boat and I am sure you will love it.
As for the big open array, pretty heavy I would think. I am sure the top can take it but alot of weight.
Where you plan on fishing? I keep mine at Westport year round, maybe we will run into you out there.
Good fishing!

Mark, I am sure we will run into each other, I fish WP starting when the kings show up and finish with the tuna. In May I will probably work up the straits since PA opens first for Halibut. I went with a radome 24 inch RD424 and that thing is bit also but not as heavy. Boat is in transit and should be here on Tuesday. I feel like a little kid waiting on Santa. LOL I just sold two boats so my weekends are pretty boring right now having no maintenance or upgrades to do yet.

Well, the boat was delivered today and I took it out for a quick run, I am very happy with it and can't wait to chase some tuna.
