Hello everyone, I just bought a 1995 2530 from another member on here. It has twin 2004 Evinrude Direct Inject 150s. The boat spent most of its live in NJ, and 2 years ago it was bought by the second owner( Infernolawn on here) who brought it down to Maryland. I've been in the market for a 2530 for a few years and happened to see it listed on here for sale. Unknown to me at the time, the seller happened to be a coworker of mine. He kept it slipped about an hour from his house so it didn't see much use. I picked it up last week and brought it to the local Evinrude dealer for a leak down test and to pull the hours off the computers. Only 182 hours on the motors and excellent compression.

It was 60 here in Southern Maryland yesterday and today also, so I was able to take it out for a few hours. We live right off the Potomac in Coltons Point, looks like theres a few other members from around this area also. We have also have Mastercraft wake boat, but it's going to go up for sale soon. Having a 2 year old we needed a boat with the cabin.

Awesome, I too am from SoMD and have always wanted a 2530 however I will need to wait awhile. As for the motors, although ficht, that particular year is a great motor and you have one of the best (if not the best) Evinrude mechanics right in your backyard. Love the boat and the picture, do you empty into St. Clements Bay? That's the water I grew up on, very nice up there with outstanding perch fishing. Good luck and hope to see you out Rockfishing.

We’re on Dukeharts Creek, it empties right into the Potomac. St Clements Island is across the street. Where are you?

I actually now live down in Valley Lee and launch at St Georges Island however I grew up on St Clements Bay up in the Compton area. I am very familiar with your location and you have great boat for fishing the Potomac, especially during the fall/winter Rockfish/striper run. Best of luck to you.

Guy Brother's Marine are the BEST Evinrude mechanics I have ever had to deal with. Unfortunately my 150 FICHTS visited them more often than I would have liked. (mine were a couple years older than yours 01 I think). I sold the boat (Regulator 23) and now run a 21SE Parker with a Yammi HPDI out of Chesapeake Beach, MD.
