Newly acquired 1990 17cc

It's been about 8 months since I got the boat. It sat in an old man's garage for years and he just wanted to get rid of it. I got it for a pretty good deal and it started turn key.

I've done some minor upgrades since these original pictures were taken.

-new bottom paint
-redid steering
-rewired
-added switch panel
-added a fuse box
-added stereo
-added rod holders
-new steering wheel
-and a few other aesthetics


I've been very pleased with the boat. It was built to live in the Lynnhaven of Virginia Beach.

I don't have any current pictures as of now. Will add more in the near future.


Would love to know any information about the 17cc as it seems it's not a very common boat.

Cool I have one for sale local by me I keep seeing but I already have an 18. Would love to snag one for a little project with the kids. But I think that may be a little Carolina skiff when I find the next hunk of junk to mess with.

Nice boat! I run a ‘97 1700 out of Norfolk. I’d be interested to see how the two boats differ between the model years.
