Well I just had to do it. I ordered a new F250 to repower my 2310 with notch transom.
It made more economic sense just to replace the lower unit on my 225 ox66 but I have wanted a 4 stroke for some time and this was just enough excuse to get me motivated.This means I have a 1999 Yam 225 ox 66, which I bot new 3/2000, for sale without the lower unit. The engine runs great, especially after last year when I replaced the o2 sensor and low pressure fuel pumps. Dale you mentioned you might be interested in buying it but I don't know if you were serious.
I have read the sticky about props but it seems most info refers to boats with brackets. Does anyone have advice on best props and mounting hight on a 2310 w/ notch transom?
