I need to ask. Some of you are putting a 300 HP on 2320 boats. I’m hitting 44 mph with plenty of torque. With the 300 HP I’m seeing speeds of 48 MPH. With a deep V going almost 50 doesn’t the boat start to list? Kind of like a sail boat ?

That's what trim tabs are for.


At some point you can overspeed the hull. Example....25ftr with med deadrise is maxed about 40MPH....I've run ours to 43 and it gets scary.
