I am thinking of buying a Parker 2501 DVCC. I have never owned a parker before but have always admired them. Does anybody have any experience with this model?

Local dealer has one. I really like it. Figure around 2.0mpg at cruise. Top speed of mid 40's. I have the 25 ph. Parkers are very low maintenace boat with not alot of frills. If thats the boat for you then go for it you wont be disappointed. It is also a 21 degree deadrise which is aggresive but not 24 like some of the go fast contenders and sea vees.

Thanks. I was wondering about the ride on this boat. I'm real close to buying one. I wont be taking it out when it gets more that 3 foot. Since I have a 38 bertram for thos days. I'm just looking for some decent riding that I can fish with one or two others.

I cruise comfortably in my PH 25 at around 28mph in anything up to 4 footers. Obviously sea direction has some bearing on that but for the most part it can handle it. I would think the CC would do as well or better. They drift great as well very stable even with a few big guys standing on the same side. I think you will love it especially if you just want a good solid boat that gets the job done.
