I finally have a deposit on 2510 Parker XL Walk Around with a single F250 ! Boat is a model year 2008 with the 16 degree deadrise. It will be used in the mid Chesapeake Bay and rivers for fishing for Rockfish, etc. and some light day cruising. The deal is contingent on Sea Trial and Survey.
My question is the ride ? I have read quite a few posts on the quality of the ride. Most reference going out in the ocean as to where the DV model makes a big difference. I never plan to do that so is the MV sufficient ? This being a walk around does the fact that the helm sits 2-3 feet farther back towards the stern than the pilot house somewhat compensate for the MV hull ? I rode on a new 25 Pilothouse with a DV and it was fine. It was more than I wanted to spend though and there are not to many used DVs for sale in nice condition at a decent price point. Nice Parkers regardless of MV/DV seem to go quick
I realize that ride quality is a highly subjective matter however I would be interested in other's opinions especially if they own the 2510 MV. I only get one Sea Trial
Regards to all
