I am looking at a 2003 2520 the specs say it is a deep vee but it has a single 250 motor most of the deep vees I've seen have had twin motors. My question is do they make a deep vee with single outboards on them. any info would help Thanks Brian

Yes, that's how many are powered. They even made the 2530 model in a deep-V single 250hp OB configuration.

Which OB? If the saltwater series Yam, she's be thristy, but reliable. No barn burners, but she'll take heavy seas and will always bring you home.

I don't think you'll find a 4-stroke 250 on the stern for that vintage.

Thanks for the info it does have a yamaha 250 4stroke with this motor what kind of speed and fuel mileage can I expect thanks Brian

I have a 1999 2520 with a F250 4 stroke and get 35 mph wot the fuel consumption is about 2/3 of what the 2 stroke was and no 2 cycle oil to buy either. It really depends on the rpm range you're running at and where the sweet spot is for your boat.
If it's a 4 stroke you should be able to get the gph off the fuel gauge.
Good luck with you new boat
