I am a new member to the Forum. My boat is a 2015 Parker 2801. When I was fishing, my anchor was caught on the bottom and had to cut the line and lost my anchor.
A new anchor is needed. What size and weight should it be? Is it a 22 lb? In addition, the windlass is not operating now so I assume that I have a breaker issue. Where is the reset typically to be found?

Hey Beachbum, welcome to Classic Parker... a 22 lb anchor, IMO, would be a minimum size for a 28' boat; In general, use the largest anchor you and your equipment can safely handle. I have a 22 lb Delta on our 2520, and will go larger with next change out. Also use as much chain as you can handle. A typical 'rule of thumb', as a minimum, is the length of the boat. If you can I'd say go for 30' or more..... Here is what a Lewmar Windlass breaker looks like. (Parker mostly uses Lewmar's). In the 2520 the breaker is usually on the right as you enter the cuddy. In the 2801 it's likely under the console.... The 'yellow' is the reset....
