So does anyone have any information on any Parker History?
How old is the company?
What model boat was their first?
We could get into when specific models came out but I was just wondering how old the first Parker is and what it was.

Great question!

The oldest documented boat that I've photographed has been this 25' 1983 Sou`wester.
It was undergoing restoration in Reedville Virginia when I saw it in 2005.

I believe the first boats were built for commercial use, but that is the extent of my knowledge.
Hopefully some others here can fill in the blanks.
