Anyone know how to remove the pilot house door frame, mine ,a 2004 2120, needs to be painted, and I'm trying to get a Parker seating box into the pilot house to replace the helm pedestal seat. I've removed the inside starboard molding but it looks like the mounting screws/bolts must be under the outside starboard molding? Only problem is the only screws I can find to remove the outside molding are almost unaccessable, they are on the top molding screwed downward with only 3" clearance, not enough for a screw driver? So before I rig something up to remove them,I'd like to be sure ,1. I'll be able to get them back in and 2.they are e correct ones to remove to access the necessary fasteners to remove the door frame?

Thanks
Jerry

Thanks,I already tried that, they referred me to discuss with my local dealer! Figured I ask here. Figured someone on the forums would have done this already.

Great ,thanks for the info. Are there also 2screws holding the lower trim? I don't see any.
As for the right angle screwdriver, I usually use a wrench and a bit. Looks exactly like what's in the pic.

Thanks :D

Been there done that. If I remember correctly there are some hidden screws on the inside under the carpet. You have to feel for them.

I have an essentially brand new complete door frame and door that I removed from by 2320 (same as 2120) when it was new. It's very heavy.

I think it is still stored out in my boat shed. If you live anywhere near St Pete it is yours for the taking.

Wish I were closer,I'd take you up on that generous offer. Unfortunately I'm up on Long Island,ny! It's a long drive.
Cheers
Jerry

For those who want to know, I spoke with Eric at the factory and was told the frame is thru bolted from inside the cabin and the heads of the bolts can be found under the interior carpet after removing the starboard trim.

Cheers to all who helped out.
