Seems water comes through on my port side where the cabin is joined to the hull. Used to be very sporadic but it seems like it is getting worse esp when there is rough seas. Is this a repair I can do myself?
I have a 2120 07.

Most likely coming in behind the rub rail. Remove the rub rail and use black 5200 behind it to reseal. Seems this is a common problem.

I would use LiveCaulk by BoatLife over 3M 5200 above the waterline. Just as tough in this application, less expen$ive, and the tube lasts YEARs, not months like 3M 5200 products.

You can apply a seal onto the gap between the rubrail and hull and have it not only look great, but work well. As that's what I did ... I just re-sealed mine '92 from top and bottom when I took possession in ~2000 or so and I not only get no water entry from rain (above) or waves (below) ... but I have zero drip-points or staining onf the fasteners inside. So while the preferred method might be a rubrail removal, goop addition, and re-attachemnt of said rubrail ... it's ain't a necessity. Just fix it and go boating :) !

I had the same problem on my '99 2520.
When the boat is on the hard, walk around the perimeter and look "up" to the rubrail where the bottom portion of the rubrail meets the hull. Mine had several spots where the caulk had either shrunk or was never done. It's an easy fix but near impossible if the boat is in the water. I did this several years ago and not a drop since, even in a bad head sea. I know this doesn't help you in the water, but that's where I'd start.

This is where I figured it was coming from. How hard is it to remove and replace the rub rail. Do you take that end cap off in the stern and start from there?
