I'm putting a new 250 four stroke Yamaha on a 25 foot Parker Sport Cabin in a week or so . Which prop would be the best for that boat ? ideas :?: Boat has 200 gallon fuel tank and a factory installed livewell.

I would imagine you are going to be using a 15 or 17 pitch. You can go with the Rev 4 or Mirage Plus. Youll hear it from everyone. Raise the motor up as high as you can without blowing out and then start trying props. Pick the one you feel the best about not what your guage says gets the fastest speed or best economy.

I had the 17 pitch X 15" black stainless and now have the 17 pitch X 15 1/2" polished SS II both Yamie props.

I like them both but the SS II seems to bite better in turns and only achieves 5800-5900 rpm. I have not run this enough to get my final #'s on fuel economy but initial figures are slightly better.

Either one will get me to 40 mph fully loaded with fuel and 3 passangers.
