If buying a 2120, get the 200. It needs it. I have a 2005 2120 with the older Yamaha F200. I appreciate the extra power for getting up on plane and staying there at lower speeds. Mine is a six cylinder. New engines would be four cylinders and lighter. So it should perform even better.
If you boat in Massachusetts, the 2120 will be fine for Cape Cod Bay or Buzzards Bay. If you where in Nantucket Sound or heading off shore, I would recommend the 23 with a bracket.
Mass marinas are pretty full and seem to charge based on LOA. But my info is second hand on Marina charges.
