Radar ?

Hello all...I'm installing a new Garmin HD Radar on our 2520. Pretty straight forward install, in fact thats what brings my question. The radar dome attatches with only four bolts to the 6" strut. It seems like it would be easy to steal. Is there a way anyone may have to secure or lock the Radar to its mount?

All our stuff is easy to steal.. just get the $50 a year coverage for Property..

There is nothing you can do if they want to steal it ..

If u really wanted to u can get some different style of bolts that require special tools. Kind of like what they have for lower units and motors so they don't get stolen

Most thieves just take the whole boat and strip it at their leisure.

No theft problem at all. The install was so easy it just got me wondering. I did change the mounting hardware to round head Allen type bolt. Cleaner looking than 2" of all thread sticking down and cant be removed as easily as a 1/2" nut.
