removing cabin door

Has anyone had success with removing the cabin door from the pilot houses. Looking to remove it and have a roll up curtain made. Feel it will free up some room in the cockpit.

wow right under my nose. Should have searched more than just the titles. Thanks for redirecting me. Looks like a great project. I just want to remove the door.....but the double door looks beautiful, nice work!
