Replacing Broken Pilot House Window

Have any of you lucky folks had to replace a side pilot house window due to lets say, a bored kid throwing rocks in the water or a wild sinker toss, etc. I am trying to help a friend fix a window on his uncle's boat and we are not having a lot of luck with the local glass guys in the Tuckerton, NJ area.

Are they Wynn windows or Diamond Seaglaze?
Black trim or silver trim?
What year is the hull?

I think that the boat is a 1998..the frame is black..

The windows are most likely made by Wynn then.

Doing this in the past Wynn will tell you to get a hold of Parker with the hull Vin number. Parker will give you a PO number /Job number of when they ordered from Wynn. That is the number they will use to get you the correct window.......


BUT......Don't expect this to happen in a hurry.....about 6 weeks for them to make it and get it to you.

The side windows were made by Water Bonnett (out of business). Only the front were made by Wynn. I confirmed this with Wynn for my 2002 just recently.
I suggest you take the opposite side window glass to a local glass shop to match thickness, tint, and to cut to size, and match radius of the corner.

We were told that Parker changed manufacturer's for the windows around 2000, so your boat should have different windows than the 1998 that we are trying to fix. Thanks for the info..we will continue to trudge along...when I went down this road with one of my Shamrocks, the local glass guy was able to hook me up...we are trying him too...

i know someone who went to a dealer and for 400.00 he got a new complete window

Southwins....come one brother..how do you whip something like that on us with no further information...what dealer? What year boat as the windows were changed in the early 2000's from the black framed ones to the anodozied aluminum....
