The windshield on my 17'CC has a lot of internal cracks, and is generally work and weathered. It's past the point of reconditioning and I plan to replace it. The one I have currently is the dark tinted plastic and I'm not a huge fan of the look. I'm thinking of going with either a smoked or a clear replacement. Has anyone switched windshield "tint" before, and does anyone have any feedback as to why one might be preferable over the other? When running the boat I'm looking over it anyway, and I have sunglasses on 90% of the time that I'm on the water during daylight hours anyway. Just wondering if there's anything other than aesthetics at play here.

Dark / Smoked Bad for night running......Not much good in the daytime , as the sun is overhead.
