I have 2003 Parker DV CC it has 250 Yamaha 25" shaft on bracket .Could I repower with 30" shaft?

There is a section in this forum where we talk about "Raising" the motor....It's talked about a Lot. Raising the motor helps the boat preform better.....and gets better fuel millage. Adding 5in to the motor will defeat that and there is not enough height adjustment. With that 30in motor raised all the way up.....It's still not high enough...

Results will be........It will push the boat......But the boat will be a Pig!

Not unless you also replace the bracket with one specific built for a 30" shaft motor.
