I just recently bought a new 2320sl and I am getting ready to make a trolling trip for kings offshore. I am planning on trolling a 4 rod spread. My question is do I need rod riggers (poor man's outrigger) to troll 4 rods out of the factory gunnel holders?? I am planning to troll 2 rods on each side (one in each of the two holders on each side), are the rod holders closest to the pilot house at enough of an angle as to not cross the lines that are being trolled in the aft holder or should I put my set of rod riggers in the further up set to give me more of a spread to prevent line cross?? Kinda new to this boat and don't wanna have to learn the hard way especially when it comes to big fish in the deep blue lol. Anybody have experience with this?

Thank you in advanced,

Capt. Matt

I just picked up a pair of these for the stern set.

Those look about what I have except mine only have the L and not the one out of the top. I may use them just to be safe.

Thanks,
