Thinking about when I get out to clean up the boat. Even though Stainless bolts screws were used they still rusted some (is there a reason for that? Another topuc I know). Does barkeepers friend or CLR(or whatever iti is called) work on carpet?

I'd like to know too.

Also-sagging carpet on ceiling is a spring project. What is best to use to reglue-brush on contact cement or 3M has a spray adhesive. Wish they did not carpet the ceiling.

If you are talking about rust around stainless bolts in cabin area

this is what I do. Take a clean white rag with windex and clean off area

and bolt if rust keeps coming back change bolt and or acorn nuts. This has

worked fine for me.

As far as the sagging carpet, I used the 3M spray adhesive (brown can)
My bad carpet area was near an edge so I just pulled it down more for access. Srayed, following directions on the can, and then used a wide bladed spackle knife to press/push the carpet into place. Worked it towards the edge.
Hope this makes sense.
Good luck

Thanks guys-Mine is coming down in the middle so I guess I will peel off an end, spray, work to the edge then cut off excess.

The spray seems easier so that is good news at least

Seems when Parker was installing the headliners there was a world wide shortage of adhesive, lol
Good luck!
