Was so impressed with my results I wanted to share with others. Purchased this summer my 1996 2520 with a horrible sagging headliner in the cabin and cockpit. The cabin headliner was so low it was close to touching the cushions. So after some internet searches came across the Youtube video below. The only issue I had was when attaching the needle to the can spray tip it was a different style than shown in the video but was able to enlarge the needle to make it work. Also the hot glue was weakened by the 3M spray. Next time if needed I'll use an epoxy to glue the needle to the tip.

Ended up wrapping the can and nozzle with paper towels to contain the spray, as it was too late to change operations once I started. It's been a couple of months since I did it and still looks like new. After the repair I took a Bissell carpet cleaner for small spots/upholstery and cleaned and cleaned and cleaned the headliner. Manually applying OXICLEAN with a squeeze bottle. Was in really bad shape but not anymore. And don't get the 3M spray in your hair! When she started to leak I found out the hard way, all good after a haircut.

When I had this issue with my 2120 I pulled the carpet down on one side and sprayed the 3m and carefully pressed back into place, when I got to the corners I actually had a couple of inches excess which I trimmed with a razor. I did the same on the other half and never had an issue again. The dealer attempted the first fix which sagged within 3 months.

My headliner carpet was so bad that I was going to do the same, but thought I'd have better control with the needle pierce in places. The edges in the cockpit were not loose and had hardware attached, so this method worked well as to not have to remove any. Nice to not have headliner hitting my head, guess why they call it "headliner". :D :D :D
