Just ordered a go7 xsr. Wondering if anyone have this on there parker? Any photo of where you mounted yours?
I believe he's talking about the Totalscan transducer for the side view functions. There's no paddle wheel on that one. Although, a STW reading can be very useful for trolling in some cases. Why the 3 in one? It has a paddle wheel for speed.....GPS is much more accurate .
Thruhull is Much cleaner...Especially if you have a bracket.

I'm about to do a similar thing with a totalscan on a deep vee. 2120 scdv. Can that transducer be mounted to the flat part of the hull, where the keel flattens out just in front of the outboard?
That would give an unobstructed view for side imaging.
There's an older garmin 541s on the boat with a thru hull at the moment. The Go7 will be install along side with that. I couldn't resist the ability to be able to connect a phone or tablet wirelessly not it and be in the cockpit to view and control it.
