So Cal launch recommendation

I am planning to tow from NorCal to go out to Catalina in May to chase some white seabass around.

Do you have any good recommendations for a launch ramp? Our criteria are: easy access to open ocean; good crossing angle to Avalon and back and relatively short; safe to leave a truck and trailer for 4 or 5 days.

Any and all info would be very much appreciated.

Davies launch ramp out of Long Beach is your spot.

I prefer south shore launch ramp near the Queen Mary because it has docks and a free fresh water wash down, just bring your own hose
