Son's new personal best Dolphin

Got out last week before Bill hit town. Real nice forecast so brought the wife and kids. :roll: Started out trolling a bunch of bonito, but mid morning we came across a weed/debris line in the water. Pulled the clark spoons out and put on some feathers, and we got rewarded with 4 nice mahi from 15 to 22 pounds :lol: . We've caught them pretty good in the past, but never broke the 20 pound mark inshore. My son got the biggest, which just happened to be a few inches shorter than him. :wink:

Thanks - Yes I was very proud. To make it even better, the marina where we weighed it in (Hoffmans in Brielle NJ) submitted it to the local magazine "The Fisherman" where they mentioned his catch. Now he's asking me when do I want him to take me fishing again.....
