I'm in the process of installing a marine stereo in my 2008 2120 Pilot House. I've located the speakers inside the cabin on the roof just above the rear windows. The starboard speaker wire was easy to run down the molding in the rear corner of the cabin. The port speaker wire has me scratching my head. I'm trying to figure out how to run the wire to the dash mounted stereo unit. I've run it down under the corner molding as I did on the starboard side. It currently exits the molding behind the bench seat. The question is-what is the best way to route the wire along the port side and across the pilot house to the stereo?
If you have done a similar installation pictures would be helpful.

Mine run's across the back bulkhead in the 1/2 round chase. From Port to STB. Where the STB speaker is. Then down the chase to under the washboard and forward. The All Around NAV light wiring that is in the chase makes it a little difficult, as it's hogging up space.

Thanks for the reply. If you're referring to a removable molding of some type along the rear of the cabin bulk head my 2120 doesn't have a wire race along either the top or the bottom of the rear bulkhead. Having said that you have given me an idea. I could use some type of commercial wire chase and mount it along the top of the cabin in the rear between the two existing vertical moldings in the cabin. Thanks

You could use PVC. Make it twice as BIG as you think you need. Use Sch 20...It has a larger ID. Fasten it with Adel Clamps. Just short screws and screw it into the underside of the Hardtop.

Use Actone or Laq Thinner to remove the lettering on the PVC

My 2006 is just like Warthog's. Maybe with a fishing tool you can get behind the liner in the upper corner where the top and rear bulkhead meet? Don't you have your all round running light or a spreader light mounted on the back of your cabin top? That chase should get you half way? Make sure you heat shrink those connections. I had to put new ring terminals on my factory installed port speaker which is mounted in the corner of the roof like yours, and that cheap speaker wire had wicked corrosion. Good luck!
