We fished Sunday the 16th and Monday limiting out both days on the North Shore of LI and returned many 21-22" fish to fight another day. I got an 8.15lb. very fat fish Sunday around noon. Tons of sand eels. My boat was covered with them. I may try it again late in the week.

i saw you guys out there on monday,i was the 2320 bouy 9

dave
How'd you make out ? Seems like the bigger fish are getting harder to come by now. I might try Can 11 tommorrow.

I was there at Gone fishing for 5 years transient and dockage last year but im next door at Ricks due to Economic factors i'd rather pay 2000 less !!!!

He put in new bulk head last year and just dredged his whole marina last week ,,,,,,looking good

Friday I went accross and brought a fishing buddy of mine . We had flat calm seas, a good drift and banged fish on both sides of the tide. Kept four, two 25 inch and two 24inch fish and released many nice keepers. Saturday took my wife Maureen and had wind against tide early for a slow start, then at top of the tide it got red hot and we stayed on them until it died out. The drift got too fast late so we left with 3 nice keepers.
