My wife had clots in her leg when she had her first heart attack at age 56. The doctor got them out during the operation to place a stent. She quit smoking four months later.

I hope they take care of your clots. It is hard to be in a position where you are dependent on others for your well being. We are keeping our fingers crossed for you. We hope your recovery goes well.

Many times you may get dehydrated at the hospital and need a good electrolytic replacement fluid. Just pop open one of those Red Stripes, and you'll be good to go.
