35 hours since 1992. It is hard to imagine. Hour meter malfunction? Also, if this motor goes dropping 11k for a new motor and 1992 boat (old tank and possible soft spots) is kinda unreasonable. Trailer needs to be replaced (another 1.5K). Just a thought.

I just spoke with the owner and a guy from jersey offered him 4500 to hold it for him untill saturday otherwise I would go check it out. Asked about the 35 hours and he said his parents bought it new and never used it he bought it 2 years ago from them.

If anyone knows of any other 18's for sale let me know as i am still also looking for one for my parents.

Thanks

Camron

You beat me to it!!!! Pics he sent me looked good how was it in person? Good luck with it

Here she is. :D 1990 ( not 1992 as advertised) vintage. Old but hull in good shape, deck has two small crack. Motor is in good shape, it checked ot 145-150psi in all 4 cyl. It is M120A 1990 Tohatsu. Throttle cable is broken and needs to be replaced. BTW, is anybody familiar with this motor? Trailer is in sad condition and I bought a new one locally. The boat should be delivered to me this weekend. :D

Looks OK, but what's with the 35 hour BS? The console seat back looks to have a lot more than 35 hours of backs leaning against it..........!

I guess 22 years of exposure to elements will make even seat look flacid
The seller explaned that majority of the time the boat was used for diving locally in Cape Cod area. The engine performed decent ( idle smooth at 600, plane at 3400 and wot 5100 with two of us) giving the speed of 34nm max. I normally hate burnt oil smell of two strokes, but this one was essentially clean smoke free. BS? May be I still think it was a good buy.

Tohatsu and Nissan are exactly the same I believe. If that motor is anything like my 2000 Nissan 90, it has some pretty cool features (like alarm for low cooling water pressure).

You should be able to download an owner's manual from the Tohatsu website.

Nice find!

Tohatsu's are good engines. We've got a little 6HP 4-stroke for our small boats, and its been really reliable. We froze it once, and wiped out the waterpump, but changing it took less than 20 minutes.
