I finally got my Ocean LED's installed on my 2520. I need to take some better pics, but these things worked great and brought up a bunch of squid last night.

Very nice! Any specs on the lights you used?
Did you take any project photos when you installed the lights?

The lights are Ocean LED 1520TH in blue. I had them installed by my local Yamaha Service Center. The lights throw a nice beam at a 50 degree angle. They only draw 1.7 amps per light and have tons of power. I think that's the perfect model for the 2520 and this is another time that I am glad to have a notched transom...the squid come right up to the lights and they are really easy to net without a swim platform.

I once saw a video of the Armstrong Co. factory. The rep had some nice underwater lights (2) that mount on the underside of the hollow part of the bracket. The wires simply run forward thru the transom inside the bracket.

Very cool set up if you are on the market for UW lights and have the Armstrong bracket.

Wow. Thats a great idea. Anymore info on that?

You won't get much light from the drain plug lights...if you are really serious about getting uw lights, you need to spend the $ to get the real deal.

Those armstrong lite hook up looks easy enough!!!Good web site as well that you gave!!!
