Porkchunker, I did a quick and dirty fix. Check to see if is coming through screws or botls.
The screws have lock nuts on them and they don't move. The screws pierce the inside and get cut back. They rust a bit and come give some.
I had a few screws letting drips get by. For me, I came from the inside of the hull and dabbed some Boat Caulk on the tip and around the problem screws. That took care of it for me. Mine were in the cabin and easy to get to.
If you hit a dock or piling good, this can cause some screws to let water in. Yes, I've self-inflicted some of it pulling up to a dock before.
I think most of the time it is just the screws.
I had two screws on the starboard side that I dabbed. Next time I'll see about taking a photo.
