It's not a Parker project, but it's a boating related project! :)

I had this motor given to me recently when the boating member of a family passed away.
After cleaning it a bit with simple green and a toothbrush, I decided to see if anyone could identify it.

Looks to me like something that might power a canoe, as it is tiny.
The plate says:
Evinrude Motors
Milwaukee, WI
4266 09761

1942 or 1966 model year maybe?

Should I be taking this thing to the Antique Roadshow? :D

I would contact Evinrude for assistance. I once had a sailboat years ago and it was powered with a British made outboard called a "Seagull" which looks alot like the one you have. Pretty cool looking in its own way. How's it run? LCT

1942 6.6 hp Evinrude. :D

Believe it or not, I'm "saving" an old "White Face" Merc 40 w/bronze prop to hang on the wall someday.
(Mercs are great to hang on a wall...Yamahas for fishing)

Not sure about the motor...but you definitely get extra points for the creative use of that deck chair. :D :D :D

Kevin -

Take the motor to Fairwinds Marina in Cape St. Claire. They have all sorts of ancient OMC motors hanging from the walls in their parts department. They should be able to help you.

Thanks John. I plan to do just that.

Depending on what it would cost to get her running again, I might just have them restore her to running condition.

I think what you have there is an infrequent guest host/commentator from Mystery Science Theater.

Geez, will that thing actually hold gasoline? Looks like ear plugs would be a mandatory accesory!
