Where did you mount your CC fire extinguisher?

With all of the other stuff I've done to the 17'... I still have that fire extinguisher just bouncing around the console. I haven't found a place to put it yet that is protected, accessible, and doesn't eat up too much space or access. I figure the two most likely places to have a fire are by the batteries/electrical system (inside the console) and at the engine, so if possible I'd like to have it elsewhere than those two areas.

That said, anyone have any creative locations or mounting solutions that they'd like to share?

Mine is on the inside of the console door, Not sure if Parker did that or the original owner. At first I wasnt crazy about it but I've gotten used to it.

1st pic: On my previous boat I had a recessed fire extinguisher holder but I didnt like that it was exposed to the elements but it was washed down every time the boat was.
2nd pic: My future plans are to use an enclosed type mounted to the console accessable from the outside. I was thinking mounting horizontal below the the storage compartment in the console below the seam. They have color options and a clear door option.

Not familiar with the 1700 but I mounted mine on my 2300 on the vertical support using the mounting bracket that came with the fire extinguisher.

I'm not hating Nicks mounting on the fuel/vent line tunnel.
Maybe some 5200 or nutserts instead of pointed hardware.

I mounted mine (two) to the back of the captains chairs with SS screws and then added a velcro strap to keep them in place.

Next time I’m at the boat, I’ll try to remember to take a pic and upload it here.
