If I ever repower mine I will go to twin 200's, so far I am satisfied with my single 300. That mic flapping around would drive me nuts thou......lol

It's kind of funny, When I'm running I don't notice it much; but, watching the video it looks like I might get whacked with it if I'm not careful. I have it on a heavy duty belt key ring thing (like Schneider used to wear) so it's up out of the way until I pull it down to talk on the VHF.

Stretching my girls legs running 50+ MPH around Dolphin Head, HHI, SC. Enjoy!

Love your boat, and your video! So very cool! I have a 2520 XLD with single 300 Yamaha. So far my top end 43 mph, and nice cruise 28-30 depending on gear, people and fuel weight... I have 40+ Parker 2520 XLD videos posted on Youtube under Andrew F. Yakim.... I hope you post more of yours.... I wonder if there is anyway in the world I could convince my 'Admiral' that we should trade the single 300 for twin 200'? It's worth a try; I'll show her your video!

Thanks. I love her too. I've hit 55 with just me and a 1/4 tank of fuel and an empty water tank. One thing I have figured out is after trimming the motors out for top speed (6000 rpm), is to trim them back in before I back off the throttles. If I don't she starts to porpoise pretty bad.

She likes to cruise at 30mph (3500 rpm) with about three 2-3/10ths trim tab and 4-5/10ths of engine trim. She really runs like a different boat over 40 MPH. No trim tabs needed and very light on the steering. At top speed she rides on 0 trim tabs and 8/10ths of engine trim.

Maybe the sound of the twins will help convince the Admiral. Turn it up loud. LOL.
