Window arm fix with gas strut

Hello I kept having issue with my arms over the years and sent hundreds of dollars on arms and even still have new arms thinking they may change them and they will get better. Well what i did to fix this is I got .

Ok got all the parts in and works great . Note your arms maybe longer or shorter than mine .. mine closed the arm itself is around 10"
But what I did was I ordered from Ebay ss gas shock 17" 30lb got 2 of them and on ebay there is a guy in summerville sc that sells a 10mm ball offset for shocks. Got 2 of them. They bolted perfectly. For the bottom bracket I got from same guy as the shocks a flat 10mm ball mount ss and just had to drill one small hole to line up with factory holes. I was able to use all the same screws as before. Seems to work good.
Shock part number is np-ss-1720-30
Flat bracket didnt have a part number but I have pics of all the listings.


I just posted a video of repower wot. Watch the video you will see them in the background. Only need the shock on one side and the screw stopper arm on the other works great.
