I broke in my motor for 4 hours so far.
1 hour at 2000 RPM
1 hour at 3000 RPM
2 Hours under WOT adn varying RPMs
My question is when I run to my fishing spot can I troll at 1100 RPM for a few hours at a time without hurting the engine?

i have the same motors and i was told to break it in for 10 hr. befor runninig it at one rpm

Your motor is broken in. Enjoy it. I've had 4 yamaha 4 strokes and broke all of them in for about 3 hrs at varying rpms and began using them as I wished. Nary a problem. Run it wide open for a mile or so on your way to the hill every day to keep the carbon cleaned out. Change the oil every 100 hrs or so and don't worry about it. It's a 4 stroke, just like your truck.
Good fishing!

You want to run the motor at considerable power most of the time during the break in period. But, vary the RPM's, don't do it all at one RPM.

You need to make power so that the rings seat to the cylinder walls. Run the motors as much as you can above 4000 RPM.

Yamaha wants you to run the motor at WOT during hours three thru ten. Just don't run there for longer than five minutes at a time.
