If anyone is interested in converting your single-engine Parker to Yamaha's Helm Master DES system - joystick and all, you might be interested in these parts.

I planned to convert a 2320 I was buying to Yamaha Digital Electric Steering to get the fishing features like Fishpond, Driftpoint, PatternSteer, low speed trolling, and the advanced Autopilot. Unfortunately things changed and I didn't get the boat. This was for a single-engine Yamaha F300 with Digital Electric Control.

Now I have a kit of brand new parts for the conversion, delivered in February 2023 from Boat Specialists, the Yamaha guys in Ventura California, still in two big unopened boxes. If you don't already have one for your DEC engine, I believe you also need a CL5 gauge.

Let me know if you're interested in these parts. I'm willing to part with them cheap.

You’ll need to determine if your new boat has the Digital Electronic Control (DEC) package or if it’s standard cable controlled. This will only work for your engine if it’s a DEC model.

I'm pretty sure a 2022 2023 would have DEC on their F300, but definitely check.

I am intrigued. My two concerns are will it work with a 2015 digital engine. And secondly does it require that $2000 gauge?

As far as working with the 2015 engine, that I'm not sure about. You could check your manual and see if the engine has Yamaha Command Link, which is their networking setup. If it does have that, you might need to call Yamaha to make sure the rest is going to work. If it doesn't I'd say it won't work. Good luck. I'd be willing to pay for half the gauge to find the parts a home.
